According to The Knoxville News, Alcoa High School (TN) senior tight end/defensive linemen Tyler Robinson (6-4, 250 lbs) called UK assistant coach Randy Sanders shortly before UK kicked off against Florida to tell him he wanted to commit to the Cats. Robinson will join former Alcoa High School products Randall Cobb and Kyrus Lanxter on UK's roster next season. UK plans to utilize Robinson at the tight end position.
Robinson was Class 2A Tennessee Mr. Football lineman winner and PrepXtra defensive player of the year last season.
